Bill has been with TEENS, Inc. since September 2007 as a teacher for the Chinook West Alternative High School program. Bill earned a B.S. in Education from Penn State and a Master’s in Reading from Grand Valley State University. He is currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation in applied statistics and research methods from University of Northern Colorado. After teaching for 10 years with elementary and at-risk populations Bill entered the business community eventually beginning and sustaining several businesses. He is clear that any success was due to being blessed with intelligent, supportive, and loyal co-workers. During the latter period he maintained his relationship with at-risk populations through mentoring and tutoring in public and parochial schools. Upon selling his information system company he returned to his passion and to what has become the most rewarding time of his life …. working with Chinook West students. During time away from Chinook West he engages in organizational planning and solution consulting part-time and reviewing research that might improve the lives of at-risk and alternative student age populations.
