Breaking Ground for Early Childhood Education
We are thrilled to share that this summer has brought significant attention to our work at TEENS, Inc.:
On August 1, we officially broke ground on our new Early Childhood Education Center in Nederland—a milestone captured by Daily Camera, The Longmont Times-Call, and The Mountain Ear.
“When we support children in their early years we are investing in better health outcomes, less taxpayer costs, children getting better jobs when they become adults, a decreased likelihood in experiencing homelessness, and a strong society as a whole. We look forward to the resounding positive impact this center will create for generations to come.”
A heartfelt thank you to these publications and their reporters for helping amplify the importance of early childhood education and this important milestone in our mission to expand access in our community.
We’re also honored to be featured in The Colorado Sun for the launch of our new Outdoor Belonging Project. As one participant, 14-year-old Marcus “MJ” Jiner, reflects, “I got to hear the outside nature,” capturing the spirit of connection and discovery our program fosters
A huge thank you to Tracy Ross and the team at The Colorado Sun for shining a light on the ways TEENS, Inc. brings belonging, confidence, and community-building to youth across Colorado.
“The program kept [our child] motivated and excited for the next thing throughout the summer. And having the group from the city and the country kids, I think that is absolutely a beautiful blend. They can learn from each other, and not be afraid of each other.”
We’re energized by this attention and grateful for the community, funders, and media partners standing with us.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, written about, and believed in TEENS, Inc.’s mission. Onward and upward—together!
