Transfer Instructions

IRA

Consider making a gift from your IRA to TEENS, Inc.

Requirements:

• You must be 70½ or older.

• The gift must be transferred directly from your IRA administrator to TEENS, Inc.

• The amount of the gift can be up to $100,000 each year.

• The gift will not be reportable as taxable income.

• Your gift can satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution for the year if you are over age 73.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a personal charitable vehicle that donors can establish at a community foundation or financial institution, like Vanguard or Schwab. A DAF allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate income tax deduction, and recommend grants from the fund over time to qualified nonprofits, such as TEENS, Inc.

Send us an email to let us know your gift is coming; this helps us ensure it is accurately identified and processed.

We accept gifts through LPL Financial:

• Name of Account: TEENS, Inc.

• LPL account number is 2055-7735.

Provide this info along with our account name and number to your broker. Please ask that your name be provided with the stock transfer. If you prefer to make a stock gift anonymously, we are happy to honor your request. A name and valid contact information must be provided so that we may receipt the stock gift. TEENS, Inc. will sell the stock and send a donor tax receipt using the contact information provided.

Please consider including TEENS, Inc. in your will or as the beneficiary of an asset. By making a planned gift, you leave a legacy for future generations to ensure that youth will always have a safe place to belong and caring adults to help them grow into healthy adults. Bequests

Including TEENS, Inc. in your will or living trust is an easy way to create a lasting charitable legacy that will not affect your cash flow during your lifetime. You can allocate a dollar amount, percentage, or all or a portion of your unused assets.

Beneficiary Designation

Naming TEENS, Inc. as a beneficiary of your retirement funds, financial account, donor-advised fund, or other asset allows you to make a lasting impact while continuing to benefit from these assets while you need them. It’s as simple as naming TEENS, Inc. on the beneficiary designation form provided by your plan or account holder.
