Nederland Votes to Support Early Childhood Education

Citizens of Nederland voted this month in the 2024 Special Municipal Election. The result was decisive, with 72% of voters in support of TEENS, Inc. building and operating an Early Childhood Education center on the town's vacant lot.

To everyone who voted, thank you. The community engagement and conversations we have had has simply reinforced the belief that taking this on was the right thing for TEENS, Inc. and Nederland. It has been a community effort to get us to this point and we look forward to working with the entire community to bring this project to fruition.

We couldn't have done it without our dedicated volunteers. To those of you who made phone calls, put up yard signs, wrote letters, and spoke up in public forums: thank you all for your support and advocacy. Nederland's future is brighter because of you.
